I started this podcast on Queer spirituality in 2025 after growing tired of a narrative in our media that we had to weight the rights of the LGBTQ+ community vs the right to religious freedom. It’s a false dichotomy since our community has spiritual and religious beliefs too.
On the show, I interview members of the LGBTQ+ community as well as allies and learn about their spiritual and religious journeys, all while sharing my favorite meal: brunch. To me, brunch has always been a time of ritual, of support, and of comfort among a community of friends (sometimes of course with mimosas). Breaking bread and sharing stories is a way to honor the diverse spirituality of our community and share stories of our journeys, trumphs, and struggles.
Some early highlights have included Drag artist and Contemporary Christian singer Flamy Grant, former director of the Ex-Gay ministry Love in Action John Smid, Savannah Church leaders Erika and Candace Hardnett, and many more. Please give it a listen!
